Press Release Regarding The Informal Meeting Of The Eu Foreign Affairs Ministers , 07.09.2010
The Belgian EU Presidency will hold the informal Meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Ministers (Gymnich) in Brussels on 10-11 September 2010.
The “Gymnich” meetings, which are named after the Gymnich Chateau in Germany where it was first held, take place once under the six months tenure of each Presidency. In these meetings, the EU Foreign Affairs Ministers have an exchange of views regarding the EU and its future as well as current international issues.
Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu will attend the working breakfast on 11 September together with the Foreign Affairs Ministers of the other candidate countries, and have an exchange of views with his counterparts from the EU on regional and international issues. Minister Davutoğlu will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the EU at the margins of the meeting.
